CVD? $90 7 days 8 of 10 MP3 long filename Comments: It is a great portable DVD player. The only drawback is that it does NOT support VCD! It there a way to make it support VCD?

CVD? $100 3 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Great little player which has played whatever I have thrown at it so far. Good functionality with brightness control on side. Speakers are what you would expect from a protable player but headphones are great. I paid $99 fron Fry's which I don't think you could beat.

CVD? $250 30 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG MPEGISO Comments: Axions Portable 7" DVD player has played about every disc we've tried. DVD-R/DVD+R & DVD+RW/DVD-RW, VCD, CD Audio, MP3, Straight MPEG files. For $239 with shipping it was a good value for us. Also, it has audio/Video in and out as seperate jacks, not dual. Volume and screen brightness adjustment wheels. Battery attaches flat to the bottom, not the back like some similar models we looked at. We found it of all places on the Walgreen drug website. This model is DIFFERENT than the one offered through Radio Shack. Check out Axions website for model specs.(www.axiontv.com/www/ProductDetail.asp?did=34) Battery has lasted about 2:45-3:00 hours Rating it a 8 because it has the usual tinny sounding speakers, but sounds decent with the headphone jack (2 headphone jacks) included on the side of the player and no volume control on the remote control. Durability, only time will tell.
