CVD? $100 N/A 9 of 10 Comments: This is an excellent player. I replaced the VCR in my van with this player and have been extremely happy with its performance. It plays VCD and SVCD as well as DVD-R. I got it on clearance at a local membership warehouse. I will be trying DVD-RW soon.

CVD? $249 N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I've got this DVD player in my conversion van, and it plays everything I've put in - CDR, CDRW, DVD, VCD, SVCD, MP3. My only gripe is that it gets quite hot after a while, but it's never skipped, which is nice.

N/A 6 of 10 Comments: This a tight player that my friend bought and that I'm going to buy from him. I burn Cd-r for it all the time and the VCD, and XVCD all play fine. Hard to tell how great the picture quality is but it probably is similar to the other APex DVD's. But the biggest difference is the player has a built in 12V DC input which makes it perfect for the car. Plays MP3's with no problem and comes with remote and remote sensor. Great addon product that you can grab from Bestbuy. I've seen it stamped with another company logo at other stores, which means it might be someone else old player they upgraded...or just reselling. But I like it and I'm gonna buy it for the car incase the Pioneer XDV-P9 does play everything. But if it does, the cool thing is I can just plug an AC cord into it and use it for testing in the house. Very versital player just haven't been able to test everything else on it to give it a truly awesome rating.
