CVD? $5 over 1 year 8 of 10 MP3 long filename Comments: It's over 4 years old and works absolutely perfectly still no problems with pressed dvd's or burned VCD's or SVCD's and provide's for a flashable bios which you can alter the Apex Screen for something of your liking.

CVD? $5 2 days 7 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: Just got this on a deal on viking.com. it was free with a $25 purchase. I wasn't expecting much, but it played Ridata -R +R and ProDisc (MCC 20rg02) without a single hitch. Works far better than mentioned in the previous comments.

CVD? $? 90 days 2 of 10 Comments: This is the biggest hunk of junk I have ever seen. Barely plays pressed DVDs. Failed to load 3 of the 4 WB DVDs I tried to play. Forget the DVD-A feature, the quality is just horrible. SNAP CRACKLE POP, sounds like breakfast time. DVD-R does sort of play, has intermittent pauses or skips most of the time, sometimes (1 out of 5) will play perfect. It does play DVD-R better than a pressed DVD, go figure. I thought the 500w was bad, this thing is 2x worse. Good thing I didn't pay for it, Direct TV sent it to me for free. It's in the landfill now.

WMA CVD? $300 N/A 1 of 10 JPG/JPEG MPEGISO Comments: Poor choice in equipment, Apex Digital has removed any known existence of the Ad-7701 model to cover up its dud player. This player has a factory defect and Apex Digital has not yet,to replace the ones people have sent back for replacement. Caveat Emptor

CVD? $250 N/A 3 of 10 Comments: This would be and awesome play if it worked. I have had nothing but problems, right from the start not playing disc, and always getting no disc errors. Sent it back already to get a new one, and new one is dead too. Waiting on newer model. Played vcds,svcds using nero,cdrwin,ulead dvd workshop. Cranked up the bitrate,and lowered as well for svcds, plays fine without a hitch.(well when it did play movies) Some nice audio options,as long as u set them up right.ntsc and pal support (although never used pal). Video will be skippy on svcd if u choose mutlit out insted of ntsc. Just a warning.
