CVD? $70 1 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: bought this as "Kobe Image Laboratory P8A5" which I believe is the same model with different speakers. Cost £49.99uk in a Whsmith clearance store which is phenomenal value for a dvd player plus 150watt surround speakers (50watt sub and 5x20w). My only concern was if it would play DVD-R as that is my entire collection. Played 24 out of 25 I have tried, only one it failed was Return of the King which was a +3hr film on one disk, so maybe the bitrate was too low for it to handle, other than that can't fault it. Sounds excellent. Built in Dolby digital and DTS decoder. Slight niggle is the lbue light on the dvd box which permanently flashes when it is in standby mode. I had read this had a terrible remote which took watch batteries rather than traditional batteries. I guess they have fixed this with the Kobe model as the remote is fine and takes AAA batteries.

Comes with Full speaker setup in the Uk for £60 from a major online computer retailer.
