N/A 8 of 10 Comments: I rate 8 as of now because of the excellent price/quality ratio. Most people report that it should play DVD-R with MPEG1 files withour autoring. Unfortunately this does not work for me. Must they be burned in some special way?

Check with no disc inside, then 7,7, play (or enter or select). JPG bug: doesn't work with files with progressive compression. It is a clone of GRAETZ 2320, ROADSTAR 2010H, SEG Fiji and Hawaii. SVCD playing is very good too (but iI have no experience on other players to do a serious comparation...). Regarding MP3 playing capablity, I have some notes to do: MP3 filename lenght is limited to 19 characters, only UPPERcase, with spaces; Playing MP3s without remote command is not possible. It's necessary to have the TV set to ON to start listening MP3 files: this because I have to choose which file will be the first to be played. There is a playing mode called "NORMAL DISK", able to play the entire content of the disk, but I'll have to point at the 1st file to be played, or it will stop.
