N/A No rating Comments: was already region free when i bought it to improve reception of the remote controle; in the player the infrared receiver sits in a metal holder,from which a smal cross goes over the top of the IR- receiver,which blocks most of the IR,just cut away the small cross and the remote reception works perfect!

CVD? $125 N/A 9 of 10 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG Comments: great player (I've got the DV-2540). bought it for CHF 180 in Manor (Switzerland). not yet finished testing. sometimes device hangs on eject. but no problem (simply cycle power - may be a M$-firmware ;)). greetz

CVD? $200 N/A 6 of 10 miniDVD/cDVD MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG DivX Comments: A dvdplayer with average picture quality but pretty good audio quality.It played everyting (X)svcds and (X)vcds bitrade are (unlimited) mp3 CBR and VBR up to 384Kbit, but it has serious problems with very low bitrades under 1500, specially if you playback (K)Vcds with 1150 bitrade then the movie skips sometimes but audio stays ok.The player allso doesnt support svcd and cvd subs :-((Sorry about my english ill hope your understand it)
