WMA CVD? $200 21 days 5 of 10 MP3 long filename DivX Chipset: Sunplus SPHE82??? Comments: 1.The game function is totally useless. The frame skip is noticible and the sound is terrible. 2. The battery must be recharged after 10 hours, even though it was fully charged and never used. 3. Fm transmitter and Game function can not be controllerable without remote controller. 4. Many function can not be controllerbable without the remote controller, such as screen ration, 4x3 or 16x9, caption and ETC... 5. The sound quality of FM transmitter is terrible. The LCD quality is so. so... it is like a very low price portable dvd player.

Initially very impressed as it comes with loads of accessories and the hardware seems very well built. It even plays files via a USB 10-in1 flash memory reader from a CF card! Then I started to notice the shortcomings: 1. File viewer can only see first 10 avi files on a DVD. 2. Short filenames only. 3. For most mpg and avi files the sound appears to be out of sync with the picture. This can be corrected by playing the file, pressing setup key, changing the Audio Key to e.g. +1 then exiting setup. However, when a different file is played the audio will be silent unless the Audio Key is reset to 0. 4. Sensitivity of the TV and FM is very poor. However, when plugged into an external aerial input the picture is very good. 5. The battery pack is very heavy, and does not attach to the player. 6. the 300 games CD actually contains a lot less than 300 games as many of them are repeated through the menus! Not sure, but it seems that the sound is a bit iffy.

Comments: I purchased this dvd from ebay for a total of £134 and its great for the car or even a caravan. The dvd plays most formats either from disc or from a usb stick or even a sony ms-card. The games you get with it are ok, and you can download more off the net. The tv feature is ok if but not really used the fm radio feature yet. You can tune your car radio into a frequency and what ever's playing on the dvd, it come out of cars speakers (built in fm transmitter). Video signals can either be exported or imported. The set combined of dvdplayer,remote control,2 sets of headphones,mains adapter/charger, 2 game controllers, cigarlighter powerlead, audio/video leads, disc with 300 games, headphone adaptor, aerial adaptor. The picture quality was ok and the screen is big enough to watch a film/movie. Also incorparated is a good anti shock system that really does work. if you format via UDF, you can get videos-music-games-photos on one playable disc. The chipset is a SUNPLUS SPHE8281A and the player is multi-region out of the box. Excellant gift for xmas or birthday for children. cheers skippy.

CVD? $250 60 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: The only thing that let this system down was that the volume could have been a little louder, if there is too much back ground noise, you really must use the headphones.
