MP3 WMA CVD? $125 7 days 9 of 10 JPG/JPEG DVD-JPG DVD-WMA DVD-MP3 MP3 long filename MP3 ID3 TAG MPEGISO DVD-MPEGISO Comments: I'm pretty impressed so far with this unit as it has played every type of media I have thrown at it. At $90.00 after rebate you can't go wrong. I particularly like the 4x3 or 16x9 button option on the bottom of the screen for easy resolution switching. This unit has line in and out making it useful as a display for another video source. The screen is active matrix and is pretty decent for its low cost. Downside is the bulky battery that hooks to the back of the unit (common in most of the lower end units) but at least you can recharge it seperately from the player. I am using it to watch pvr (snapstream) recorded tv which I just burn onto rewritable DVD +RW at 4x to take on the road. It seems to handle any resolution or encoding option for MPEG 1 or MPEG 2 without the need for authoring a proper DVD. It has a basic file system selector for playing mp3s, MPEGs or JPEGS.

CVD? $125 2 days 8 of 10 JPG/JPEG Comments: This is not a full review. I have only had this DVD player for a few days. However, before purchasing this portable DVD player I searched videohelp.com and other web pages for information about the types of media that this player would play. Mainly I wanted to know if it would play DVD-R and DVD+R. I am happy to report that I have yet to have a problem with any of the media types I frequently use. So far DVD-R, DVD-RW and CD-R media work flawlessly on this player.
