This media is no good for video (DVD or VCD-DVD). It will not play back past the first half of the disc. In my PC it plays to about the 3/4 mark, and then stops. I haven't tried data yet. It was sold in a 10 pack (5 x slimline dual disc cases). Media has a dark pinkish look on the data side and the jewel cases are clear blue.

Bought a 10-Pack on sale for $15 (normally $20). On my stand-alone players, the first 2/3 of the disc seem to play ok, but it glitches and freezes throughout the last 1/3. On the DVD-Rom drive, I didn't notice any problems. So this would be ok for a data or DVD-Rom disc, but don't burn more than 3GB if you're going to use on a stand-alone player.

I burnt a DVD movie using DVD X Copy on a HP DVD+RW with my Sony DRU 500 Ul. It worked perfectly fine. Then I tried with this Khypermedia DVD-R. So far, I made four coasters trying to burn one successful DVD. I still have six left which soon may become coasters. Don't fall for the discounts and buy junk. It ain't worth it.

Bought 3 10-packs and have burned through 20 discs at 1x. Two of the 20 are now coasters, and most will not play in our DVD player. Coasters failed about 70% through burn. These seem fine for data and play inconsistently on the PC's DVD-ROM, but do not play beyond the first 15 minutes or so on our Toshiba DVD player (SD-3750). Do not recommend for video.
