Burned five movies using Shrink/Nero with no problems at 4X. These discs are the ones that look like old movie reels, coolest looking media available AFAIC.

Well Verbatim continues to work for me especially now that these are becoming more available and down in price. I don't know why the one commentor on here had problems since it seems others haven't. Never had a problem or any player not able to read (been giving them to friends). 8X DVD-R are out now but more expensive, I'll stick to these and burn at 8X!

Burned 12 movies using X Copy Express & Plextor 708a FW 1.6 all excellent copies have only played in Sony players DVP NC665P/DVP NC615 & PC. Typical rip times 10-14min. Write 12-16 min. Burn times would seem 4x or better. Disc cases are a special edition with 3 pac.

These cake box Verbatims are made in Taiwan and have MCC01RG20 code. I burned 3 movies on my Lite On 811s and scanned them with Kprobe. Those are the cleanest, best scans I've ever seen coming off my burner and I've been trying a lot of different high quality media. Must be new factory or something but those discs are great and the price is right. I hope they keep the high quality up.

I saw "Made in taiwan" on these disks, but decided to give it a shot as it was on sale at Best buy for $27.99 for 25 piece cakebox. Burnt it on my Pioneer 107-D at 8X and it plays flawlessly on my Panasonic RP-91 DVD player, my Sony DVP-NS315P, my Apex AD-4500, XBox and also on my portable Toshiba SDP-2500 player. Awesome !!!

Just To let you know I have burnt my first MCC made DVD-R on a Pioneer 107d firmware 1.12 and will be the last I time I purchase verbatim, I had read and heard they were some of the worst but needed some disc to get me by(I will use these as data backups from now on). I bought the 25 pack of Digital Movie until my order of Ritek G04 comes in. The Movie played in my xbox fine but didn't play in my Panasonic a120u(old but reliable play) dvd player to well, showed signs of mpeg corruption much like you see if the disc is scratched. Now the Ritek G04 I had before Played beautifully no probs at all.

Works fine with RJ Tech RJ4000 DVD player (did not find in list) and number of Apex/SONY/Magnavox DVD players of my friends I do not know exact models. The best K-Probe graphic I've ever seen. Excellent media.
