Xbox has problems reading these discs, where other DVD+R discs work fine. Also some problems in a Sony DVD player, where other DVD+R's work fine. Looking at the back of the disk it looks perfect before anything is writen to it, but after burning the disk you can see small blemishes in the dye, and the video skips and pauses when played, I believe it is do to these blemishes. They are full of errors, specially at the end of the disc. Tried everything, up-to-date firmwares, software and so on. Conclusion is disc weakness. I have e-mailed Verbatim, and they want to get my disc's and investigate it. Warning! Choose Verbatim 16x or 4x. No problems with those! I have never had these problems with Verbatim DVD+R 4X and 16X media. I tried to burn these discs also with Sony DRU-510 and Philips DVDRW228 burners... no luck.
