I get coasters when used with Nero with my PC DVD+/-RW burner, but not as many. Duplicated DVDs have a 1-2 minute delay when loading in my DVD player. Although these TDKs are billed as 16x, they won't burn at more than 4x. DVD Identifier gives them a maximum speed of 4x. (The Taiyos identify at 4x, 6x and 8x.) Yeah, I checked the latest firmware etc. Did a comparison burn of the same DVD and got 8x with the Taiyo and 4x with the TDK. Wish I'd have stayed with the Taiyo Yudens. With the same writer using imation i-pro 16X blank media, I can fully enjoy the speed of 16X writing. I've recorded and scanned one of them, and it had a near PERFECT curve in Nero DVD Speed, and absolutely no errors on DVD InfoPro. There -R are excellent! I will buy these from now on, if there's no MIJ media available on the market.
