Ripped with DVD-Fab7, burned with Burnaware 4.7 @8X
This is the first time I've encountered this media code in Sony disc products, and in fact I was surprised to discover no prior entries of Sony with an "MBI" code in the VideoHelp database.

I have been using Sony since the older Taiyo-Yuden 4x production run, and then later with the Sony media codes, and have always had good results, but now I'm a bit apprehensive about these 16x discs with this Moser 'ink'. However, my first burn and subsequent playback has been without problems, and I have nothing negative to report.

I always use Nero DiscSpeed or DVDInfo to produce a graph of a disc's scan-speed, as I find a smooth graph to be a good predictor of playback quality. I especially look for any disruptions toward the end of the disc, where poor quality usually becomes quite evident. I'm happy to report that my first few scans of these discs produced very nice, smooth graphs from beginning to end, so I'm hopeful about these discs.

If I discover anything negative, I will report back and/or update my report accordingly.
