Awful blank media, which is particularly finicky with Zenith/LG DVD recorders (that have had a firmware update, as mine has).

I've never had a problem with Verbatim (which is simply the best), or Sony, and even Fujis have a better success rate than this media.

As ever, the reason people buy them is because they see a sale, and go for it. Best Buy had a cake of 50 (x16, SL) p/12.99, and I couldn't resist.

I've opened one, burnt 30, using all kinds of speeds, and tweaking everything could think of, to no avail -- all of them were coasters. I'll be returning the second cake immediately.

Like the other user, at first I as well got the error
"Interface Error: -50 The connection is not stable."

However, this is a drive problem, not a media problem. After I updated my burner's firmware, the dvds worked fine and I was able to burn away without any problem. I got a couple of damaged DVDs, but in a 100 batch it's to be expected.

The only downside of these DVDs is that you can only write at 4x, the 16x on the packaging isn't true.
