	Region code hack posted by fleo, March 29 2011: Download the V50 software from the U.S. and UK site. On UK site choose model BDX 1100 KE. Flashing the software from the respective source, toggles the player from region A/1 to B/2 and vice versa. Flashing: Use a smart-card 2GB or smaller. Create a folder called UPG_ALL in root directory of smartcard. Place the files 8550_linux_demo_dbg.bin and for the region B firmware the DVD.bin in this folder. Insert smartcard, press setup and choose firmware update from smartcard.
	Region code hack posted by Viking61, February 09 2012: For the BDX1100KB and BDX1100KE you can install the regionfree firmware for BDX11005KY. It works fine and makes the player regionfree for both DVD and blu-ray. Be sure to obtain the instructions before flashing. For the american BDX1100 only do it if your TV or projector supports PAL.
