 Region code hack posted by tp5harp, September 11 2012:To perform this hack you need a OneForAll remote control. Here are the instructions for the OneForAll URC-7781 and the OneForAll 7040 remotes (I have the URC-7781 and it works ok with that, but I have not tested the 7040 remote). Any OneForAll remote should work providing you follow the principles detailed below. Programming the URC-7781 --------------------------- 1. Hold the Magic Key down for 3 Seconds 2. Select "Initial Setup" - Press Enter 3. Select "Device" - Press Enter 4. Select "Add Device" - Press Enter 5. Choose DVD from the list of choices - Press Enter 6. Select "Code Setup" - Press Enter 7. Enter Code 0533 - Press Enter 8. Press Esc until you get back to the Main Menu 9. Hold the Magic Key down for 3 Seconds 10. Cursor Right and select "Advanced Setup" - Press Enter 11. Select "Function" - Press Enter 12. Select "Add Function" - Press Enter 13. Cursor Right and select "Add Key Magic" - Press Enter 14. Cursor Right and select the newly added DVD Device 15.
