| Region code hack posted by Wellington Terumi Uemura, March 15 2006: I've hacked mine with my Palm (Zire 72) + OmniRemote and this Sony DVP-NS multiregion remote hack that you can download here: http://dev0_2000.tripod.com/ And upload that to your Palm, not at the memory card, upload the Stile file to main memory. 1- Download OmniRemote, the trial will do. 2- Load the Stile "Sony DVD Hack". 3- Remove any DVD from the player, turn it off and press buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 4- Turn it on and press again buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 5- There will be NO messages at all on the screen, but after that you are done and now region free. I bought this player as region 4 (Brazil), after the hack i've tested with DVD region 1, 2 and 4 without problem. | ||||

| Region code hack posted by dinky, May 19 2006: I have a DVP-NS50P for region 1. I tried the hack but it didn't work. I think the problem could be that there's no standby mode on my DVD player. I'm not sure what those red light/green light in the instruction means. My DVP-NS50P does not have any light on when it is turned off, and got a "orange light" when it is turned on. | ||||

With the DVD player turned off(stand by), press: TOP MENU CLEAR POWER Choose option 2 and after option 4. Type: 12450 [press enter] 00000 The tray will open and close repetedly. Unplug the power cable and afterwards turn it on again. Done! Your DVD is now multi-zone. Good look! | ||||

| Region code hack posted by kolianita, August 02 2009: Hi everyone, I just so overwhelm by the fact that I hack my dvd zone block.... well I was online searching for a way to make my dvd player a multi-zone player and found this page which have given me instructions and I want to share it with anyone that is having trouble with their dvd player...
