 Region code hack posted by Darhclint, September 08 2010:1. Power up 2. Open dvd tray 3. hit setup on the remote 4. at the setup screen input 8520 on your remote. 5. If all goes well a factory settings screen should pop up. 6. Here you can change the dvd region code to 0(zero) which will multizone it. You cannot change the bluray code though. 7. After you've changed it press setup on your remote again and exit the setup screen. 8. Power down and power up again and if all goes well the unit should now be region free for dvd's | ||||
| Region code hack posted by patricia3470, September 13 2010: Turn on unit Eject Tray Hit Set Up Press Numbers 8520 For DVD Press 0 All Regions Press OK Hit Set up This makes DVD's Region Free For Blurays As Above. You will see second box with the letters according to where you live A or B Press Number 1 For Region A USA Discs. Press Numbers 2 For Region B. UK Europe & Australia Press Number 4 Foe Region C China etc. This works 100% You can now play either. Press OK then Setup and you are ready. | ||||
| Region code hack posted by patricia3470, September 29 2010: This concerns my Region hack for the Soniq QPB302B. Apparently there are 3 different machines under this number. Have a look on the side of the box for the Serial number In the serial number there is either A B or C after the first few numbers. The one with A wont convert ,not tried C yet. THE ONE THAT WILL CONVERT AS .... B. in the Serial number. This one converts with the instructions above Guaranteed. PS Don't put any Firmware in,or you will lose the hack. | ||||
