turn power on.
open tray.
press 7739 on control.
you should have 4 stars in top left corner.
press 0 for multi region.
press 1 for usa.
press 2 for europe etc, then close tray.

to check if worked.
bring up setup screen.
press 1379.
a screen should appear showing region.
that all folks...
