	Region code posted by InvisibleWolfMan, October 30 2011: This is less of a hack and more of a building block to an eventual hack. To be clear, my Samsung model is D8200N. Since Samsung has been steadily changing players and methods, it took me some time to figure out how to display the info regarding the region (**note: nothing's been changed yet). Here's what I did: 1) Powered on the player. 2) Hit the blue-green MENU button. 3) Selected MY DEVICES. 4) Highlighted DISC. 5) Pressed INFO for 5-10 seconds. 6) Info displays. Here is the info that was displayed from my machine: Front : BPH-D8500EUM-0024 S/W : BPH-D8500EUB-1003.2 Loader : BPH-D8500EUL-0037 Region : B/2 (BD/DVD) Macrovision : BSS76 Model : BPH-D8500N-XE TouchIC : BPH-D8500EUT-0016 I hope this can help someone out there who is more tech minded to figure out how to change the region(s).
	Region code posted by GamePat, January 03 2012: No matter where on menu you are, pressing the info button on remote control for 5-10 seconds brings the information, mentioned earlier, on screen.
	Region code hack posted by InvisibleWolfMan, January 04 2012: I managed to get a hold of an older Samsung remote control (AK59-00104R) that has the repeat button. The frequency of the remote has obviously been changed since it would not even turn on my machine (only the TV side of the remote worked). So it must mean that there has to be a new way to apply the hack, or then it's hardware/software related.
