 Region code hack posted by lejosi, July 13 2010:People seem to have said that there isn't a region hack for the HTS 6120, but I did mine yesterday by just following the standard Philips steps: 1) Turn on 2) Eject 3) Enter 99990 OK 4) Turn off (Standby) Works fine now for region 1 and 2 (I don;t have any DVDs from other regions). | ||||
| Region code hack posted by Lukeskywalkerjr, August 30 2010: To make the Philips HTS 6120 region free: 1) Switch OFF the main power supply 2)Switch it back ON after a few seconds 3)Switch on the TV and bring it to video mode(mode to which the DVD player is connected) 4)Now using the remote of the Soundbar, press DISC 5)Press "OPEN" 6)Once the tray has opened, make sure there is NO disc inside 7)Now using the remote press 999990 8)The TV screen will display Region 0 on the bottom left. 9)Now the Soundbar is region free.
