 Region code hack posted by Carl, June 25 2007:This is the same as DVP3140. From what I can tell the DVP3144 in a limited edtion for New Zealand. All Blacks Model. If not, the unlock codes work! :) 1. Turn the unit on and open the tray. Take out any disc from the tray. 2. Enter the code 98790 on the remote and press Ok. The 0 on the end is the region. Eg to change it back to a region follow step 1 and enter the code 98794. 4 being the region code in this example. 3. To check the region code follow step 1 and enter the code 966. | ||||
| Region code hack posted by Ayt!, August 17 2007: I just bought my DVP3144 "All Blacks" only this afternoon and I tried recoding it by following the same procedure with DVP3140 and works! I'm now enjoying watching my Regions 1,2 & 3 dvds. | ||||
