	Region code hack posted by Joel, June 06 2007: Just got the LG LDA-830 from Future Shop on June 6/07. Used the hack below and works excellent, plays NTSC and PAL. I have two LDA-530s form years ago and this was the same hack for those for Region Free. (lg5000 hack) Here is the link: http://www.digitalfaq.com/downloads/dvdhackarchive/ Download the LG DVD hack (lg5000 zip file). Burn to a CD, put the CD in the DVD player and a region menu pops up, choose 0 for Region Free. Press Pause and then eject the CD.

	Region code hack posted by gizmonty, December 01 2007: My first attempt at applying this hack failed. I used vista's built in CD burning capabilities. When I tried again using Roxio it worked fine. I would recommend using proper CD burning software and staying away from Mickeysoft's free stuff.
	Region code hack posted by timkath, December 24 2007: It does work, I tried several times and also found that the vista burner is the problem. I used Nero which you can download a free trial and it worked first go.
	Region code hack posted by Zucko, March 07 2008: I confirm too, this hack still does work perfectly ! I just purchased a new LG LDA-830 from Future Shop ($49.99) and I made it Multi-Zone as soon as I had it installed, and did it n the first shot using the CD process (LG5000.zip). Enjoy !
