It worked fine for me on my new LG HT462DZ. For burning never use vista's built in CD burning capabilities or other down sized CD burner software from bill gates, stay away from free stuff; use Roxio or Nero which you can download a free trial and it will work first go. Follow the directions exactly. 1. Unpack the zip file and burn the folder 'RMTM0000' to a CD-R disc making sure that the directories stay in order. Close the disk burning. 2. Insert the disk to your player 3. It loads..... After a few seconds it opens the tray 4. And a Region Select menu will come up. 5. Press "0" on the remote for multi-region (0 for all regions or 1, 2, etc for wathever desired region).
