This hack gives you region 2 or 1.

Please post E Prom values for other regions. Especially the region free one..

1. Power on the player with no disk in the drive.
2. Wait for the "No Disc" message to appear.
3. Press Pause on the Remote.
4. Enter 1, 4, 7, 2,
5. Region 2 EEPROM: 54 52 00 C3 06 55 F0 00
6. Press Pause on the Remote.


Region 1
EEPROM : 55 53 00 41 06 55 60 00

(you get letters by holding 1 - 6 pressed down).

Worked for me.. Finally..
