	Region code hack posted by pooss75, June 25 2004: Beware the hack won't work with the 2.8.3 firmware(actually it does not like the 2.8.x versions, i heard the loader has been changed). You have to "downgrade" your firmware to the 2.7.4 Links : http://www.gooddvdstuff.com/files/ search (with CRTL+F) for the "KiSS_DP-508_FW2.7.4" string and download the file. Or use the following link http://www.gooddvdstuff.com/files/dlind ... .4_PAL.zip Flash the player with this version, use the region hack cd (see http://hijacker.rpc1.org/kiss/ ) and finaly upgrade to the latest firmware (at this time it is the 2.8.3) Then use the hidden code menu (eject,clear,276) and select REGION = "ALL" I did it on my Kiss DP-508 (bought in France) and it works perfectly.
	Region code hack posted by Peter Cooper, November 16 2006: You need firmware version 2.7.0 or higher (check using setup menu) 1. Download this http://hijacker.rpc1.org/kiss/iso/rpc1.zip 2. Burn to a CD-ROM disc-at-once, finalised (I used nero) 3. Put it in the player and press enter to begin updating and again to eject the CD when the update is complete. 4. Remove the CD and turn off the player. 5. Turn player back on and wait for a few seconds. 6. Press EJECT -> DEL -> 2 -> 7 -> 6 -> ENTER to access a secret menu with region options. 7. Set region to 'All' then press setup to exit the menu.
