 Region code hack posted by Arianrhod, August 19 2007:Use the same hack posted for NS-7PDVD and NS-8PDVD on NS-PDVD9. Works on player purchased 26/12/2006 at Future Shop. Region code hack posted by lunar, November 21 2006: To change region codes: 1)Without disc inside of the DVD player, turn power on. 2) Use the remote control: Press the SETUP button. Press the right key on the remote 3 times. The preference page will show up, press 9653. 3) Use the up and down key to select the Region, Select 0 for all regions. 4) Press select again to exit. 5) Put in a disc of the region you want to play, and enjoy!! [do a happy dance :)] ---- 0: All Regions 1: U.S., Canada, U.S. Territories 2: Japan, Europe, South Africa, and Middle East (including Egypt) 3: Southeast Asia and East Asia (including Hong Kong) 4: Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean 5: Eastern Europe (Former Soviet Union), Indian subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia 6: China 7: Reserved 8: Special international venues (airplanes, cruise ships, etc.) | ||||
