All but latest version of firmware should be hackable for multiregion & macrovision.

Multiregion: type 38883 on remote.
Macrovision Hack: Enter SETUP (via remote) then enter 590419 to enter "loop hole" menu. Cursor to macrovision & set to OFF.

Later machines can be "backward" flashed to access hacks, then flashed back, whilst retaining hack.
