	Region code hack posted by alfonso ahedo, July 22 2003: FIRST PRESS "SETUP" THEN PRESS IN ORDER "1" "3" "6" "9" "LEFT" "LEFT" "LEFT" "RIGHT" then a new button called version will appeaqr as the 4th topic on your set up menu. use dowm arrow and select by pressing play. now you can set the region code "0" for code free or each region nomber by pressin right arrow key. just exit to the main page and your selection will be set. best regards
	Region code hack posted by Palaver, October 29 2003: This worked for me as of 10-30-03. DVG-5200S purchased at Target in MA.(USA). for $63: After power up; Open tray press 13790 (watch for x's in upper left screen) Close tray That's it. The last digit "0" is for bypass from what I've read. This hack is from another model of DVG but I think they must rotate scheme's since the hack listed above did zip for me.
	Region code hack posted by P. Books, March 21 2004: Well alfonso, I tried your hack. I assume that the "Left" and "Right" are the forward and reverse buttons respectively since I don't find those written on the remote. Didn't work. But the 13790 bit did. Thanks.
