| Region code hack posted by slingvar, December 30 2008: Go to this link: http://hk.lge.com/support/support_lgeservice.jsp and click on 'Product Support' a new window will open, click on 'Device Driver' in the menu at the left side. click on 'DVD Player/Recorder' under Product and roll down to 'Software Update for RH3xx series' and click on 'RH3xx.iso' choose SAVE. Save it on place where you will easy find it. When the file is downloaded, open it with Nero or similar CD-burner program. Burn on a CD-R and label it Region-free. Put the CD in your DVD-player, a window will open. This windows inform you what region the player is looked at. Enter a '0' with the remote to choose for region-free. Take out the CD. Power off the DVD and power on again and the DVD is region-free. If you put in the CD again it will show you that the actual region is 0 (zero). I used this methode today on my RH387H that I bought two days ago and it worked to 100%. It will work on all RH3 models. | ||||

| Region code hack posted by juanseeker, February 17 2010: 1. Press "HOME" 2. Select "EASY MENU" "SETUP" 3. Scroll to the LOCK symbol 4. Press "0" seven times 5. You will see a window indicating you are Region Code Free "YES" 6. Press "ENTER" 7. Press "RETURN" to exit out and complete. If you repeat this it will return to Region Code Lock. Repaeating again will Free it up again. | ||||
