I have a 1hour 28 minute stereo vidoe to fit onto a DVD. Since it takes 6+ hours to encode (using sorrenson) experiments are time consming and frustrating. I tried the bit rate calculator settings this morning.

One thing I could not find is a page on your site explaining the different lasers used to burn DVD's and the difference between DVD Authoring (635 nano) and DVD General (650 nano). I think this is vital information and would come in usefull for everyone in this field!
