Avoid this if you want to sleep good at night. The previous version is MUCH better (Instant DVD 2.0) by a country mile.
It worked fine when doing MPEG2. It was not as good as Instant DVD 2.0 at a similar bitrate, because they changed chip makers and the newer encoder chip is inferior at bitrate below 7.0 Mbps. DivX is a waste.
I have not used for over a year now and for good reason. If you want to do MPEG2, you should be okay, anything else is going to provide problems.

This is the worst piece of junk to ever be released to the public. ADS should be ashamed of this device. I had to wait months to get MP3 to work in XP and Vista is not supported. The device is now showing obsolete on the website. I never got any responses from the company when I inquired about my problems. Stay away from ADS!!!
